Will my massage be painful?

Let’s start by stating massage does not need to be painful to be effective. There may be areas that are more tender and that will vary from person to person. That being said it is very important to keep open communication with your therapist if you get past a 7 out of 10 on your personal pain scale. 

What happens if I release gas or fall asleep?

Do I need to tip?

Tips are always appreciated however never expected. Our pricing ensures your therapist is compensated fair and well. The best tip from a client is rebooking!

Do I need to remove all my clothing?

Can I talk during my session or can I have a quiet session.

You can chat or enjoy the quiet! Ultimately your therapist will allow you to lead the conversation, besides checking in on pressure or questions pertaining to your session. If we ever get to chatty, don’t be afraid to remind us you prefer a quiet session!

Clients can disrobe to their comfort level. Some people wear undergarments, others do not. During the massage, you are covered by a sheet. For the client’s comfort and therapist’s professionalism, only the area being massaged will be uncovered. Private areas always remain covered and will NOT be massaged.

What happens if I need to use the bathroom during my session?

We have size inclusive robes, no need to stress about getting dressed and missing out on your session time to use the bathroom!

The natural functions are not judged! As the body begins to relax muscles and mind both tend to let go. It is a compliment to the work your therapist is providing that you feel safe enough to relax, a snore or gentle gas are a form of flattery!

Cancellation Policy 

We hold a strict cancellation policy, to respect both our and your time. Please remember that when your massage services are reserved, it is set aside exclusively for you. If possible, please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance. This allows time to offer your spot to someone else.

PLEASE NOTE THE SPECIFICS OF THIS CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations and re-scheduled sessions will be subject to a fee. In the event of illness or an emergency, we will be happy to discuss on a case by case basis. If we do not respond to your email/text/call request, it will be honored by the time stamp associated with your communication.

The cancellation fees are as follows:

50% of the of the service for the first missed appointment

Any missed appointments after will be charged the full amount of the service missed.

This will be charged to the card you have on file. If we are able to reschedule you within the same business week, the fee may be waived. Please understand that this is not a guarantee and some weeks will not be able to accommodate this. If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time and will still be charged for the full session. If you show up more than 15 minutes late for a session without previously discussing it with us, you may be charged for a missed appointment and/or rescheduled for another day. Appointment reminders are a courtesy. In the event there is a technological glitch and you do not receive your reminder, this will not be an excused missed appointment. You will remain responsible for the session fee.
